I am passionate about helping my clients get a handle on their feelings. I may be the person to help you with your struggles if:

You’re feeling down in the dumps
You want more self-respect and compassion for yourself
You want to be more authentic and more transparent
You’ve tried to fix things but nothing seems to be working
You’re done being inauthentic and trying to please others
You’re committed to working on yourself
You want to feel better and relate better
You want to celebrate who you are, have gratitude for what you have, and be motivated to get what you want

I genuinely get excited when I’m working with people who say “Yes!” to each of those statements and see their growth right before my eyes. It took me a while before I got so much fulfillment out of being a psychologist. In fact, being a psychologist wasn’t my first profession. I used to be an attorney. And not just an attorney who went to law school because he didn’t know what to do after college. I actually wanted to be an attorney.

I learned a few things after trying multiple areas of law over the course of 9 years. The biggest lesson I learned was recognizing that while some people felt like they made a difference at the end of the day I wasn’t one of them. That’s what led me to become a psychologist - so that I could have an intimate and immediate impact on the people I work with.

That’s also why I now specialize in AEDP. I have found that it is the best type of treatment to help my clients understand and embrace their feelings and end their suffering. I love seeing in their faces the realization that so much is possible when you feel calm, confident, grounded, have clarity about what you want and the desire to go after it.

Just so you know I’m the real deal here’s more about me: I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of New York. Previously, I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

One more thing you should know about me is that I work best with clients who are motivated to learn about themselves, apply what they learn in treatment, and are prepared to make changes in their lives. If you’re ready to have a transformative experience, let’s get started with a free 20-minute phone consultation.
